Volar, an alternative pop duo from Switzerland founded in 2023, with singer Martina Birbaum and musician Michael Beer.
Both have been active in the Freiburg music scene for a long time in formations such as Mellowtone, Michael Beer & The Spaceships or others. The mystical and melancholic side, as well as the cultural diversity of the city of Freiburg were inspiring for both of them and significantly characterised their sound. This inspiration and their interest in various musical styles and songwriting brought the singer and the musician together to create music together.
