Even in Celtic times, textiles and textile raw materials, such as wool, were dyed with dyes obtained from plants. These plants used to be found in almost all farm gardens in the mountain villages of Valais.
Our member, Anna Buser, will be dyeing natural wool over three days at the weekend. Come along and shy or lend a hand.
Admission is free. There will be the opportunity to purchase dyed wool.
