The hub of the Goms
Under the roofs of Münster lived important personalities who, as politicians, civil servants and bishops, decisively shaped the course of the Valais from the 16th to well into the 18th century. Even today, you can sense the pride of the inhabitants of that time when you look at the stately houses in the village or are inspired by the works of art in the two churches. Today, Münster is still the center of Goms with a shopping center and various craft and service businesses - but without having given up its charm for it.
