Course content
- We create a composition for alphorn trio in three groups of 4 participants
- Learn about motif, theme, full/semi-full stops, typical alphorn phrases and much more.
- Practising traditional alphorn repertoire from Switzerland
- 4 days of lessons, 4-5 lessons per day
- Performing the practised alphorn melodies at two public performances in Goms
Target audience
- Alphorn players:Inside, who have at least 3-4 years of playing experience and bring their own instrument
- Advanced, who enjoy playing music in groups
- Knowledge of reading and writing music is required
- Enjoyment and interest in traditional alphorn music
