Course content
- We create a composition for alphorn trio in three groups of 4 participants
- Learning the motif, theme, full/semi-final, typical alphorn phrases and much more.
- Practice traditional alphorn repertoire from Switzerland
- 4 teaching days of 4-5 lessons per day
- Perform the practiced alphorn melodies at two public performances in Goms
Target audience
- Alphorn players:Inside, who have at least 3-4 years of playing experience and bring their own instrument
- Advanced, who enjoy making music in groups
- Knowledge of reading and writing music is required
- Enjoyment and interest in traditional alphorn music
