Course content

The course offers wind players, drummers, pianists and guitarists the opportunity to play big band music in a large line-up and at a high level.
The repertoire consists of traditional big band music as well as pieces that the leaders arrange or compose especially for this band. Improvisation is an important element of the course. However, prior knowledge of improvisation is not a prerequisite for taking part. The style and sound spectrum of the big band is very broad and is an exciting mixture of swing, jazz, Latin, pop, soul, blues and rock.

Music-making for experienced amateurs and enthusiastic professionals. Instrumentation: alto sax, tenor sax, baritone sax, trumpet, trombone, bass trombone, guitar, piano, bass and drums. All are welcome.
