Parish Church of Mary Help the Christians

Blitzingen originally belonged to the large parish of Ernen, which included all the villages from Lax to Hilpersbach near Selkingen. In the second half of the 17th century, the original chapel was less important than the religious buildings of the surrounding hamlets. The present parish church was largely built in 1843/44 by the Italian master builder N. Ramoni as a rector's chapel.
