Church
Parish Church of St. Martin of Tours
The "ecclesia sti Martini", first mentioned in 1309, was pillaged and burned down in 1419 during the Bernese invasion. In the years around 1606, a vaulted sacristy was built, the choir was vaulted and renovated, and the ossuary was also restored. On July 25, 1693, the new church, moved to the north, was consecrated. The disastrous avalanche of 1720 destroyed the porch. In the village fire of September 2, 1868, the church also fell to ashes. Immediately the reconstruction was walked on, so that the church could be blessed in 1875 and consecrated in 1879.
