Ossuary and St. John's Chapel
The year 1637 on the coat of arms above the door of St. John's Chapel may be regarded as its year of origin. The Stäli coat of arms refers to the priest and canon Johannes Stäli. He made a great contribution to the construction of the chapel, which was maintained by his heirs until 1809. The foundation could be connected with the plague epidemic of 1629.
