The chapel stands with the presbytery facing the village on a small larch-covered plateau at the entrance of the Blinnental. Thanks to this privileged location, the hermitage is one of the most atmospheric in the Goms. In the niche above the entrance door there is a copy of a statue of the Madonna by Johann Ritz. The painting on the outer wall of the presbytery shows two angels carrying a cross.
