Course content
During three and a half days, the parish church in Reckingen provides the magical setting for this year's organ courses.
"Audience with the Queen for the whole family": We get to know the magnificent organ and, if you wish, elicit a few notes from it ourselves. If you like, you can bring your own sheet music, but you can also just watch and listen.
"Playing the historical organ": For anyone who already has some knowledge of the organ, piano or harpsichord, including sheet music, and would like to experience what a historical instrument feels like. Let yourself be surprised!: CHF 10, children up to 16 free No registration necessary, early arrival recommended, payment on site.
Target audience
For all
Organ course: "In the Sound of Time III": The course is aimed at organists, young and old, amateurs, students and professionals who want to get to grips with historical playing practice and this time get to know cheerful organ music by lesser-known and more recent names. Using the prepared works, we will immerse ourselves in the "sound of time".
Target audience
Organ players of all ages and all levels of training who are curious about the practical experience of a historical instrument and would like to expand their skills and repertoire individually in this direction. At the beginning of the course we will discuss your concerns and ideas. Those enrolled will receive literature suggestions on request and submit their prepared works (in pdf format, without their own entries such as fingerings etc.) to the course leader by 15 May.
Course times: 9.00 - 11.30 am, 2.00 - 5.00 pm, individual practice and Friday morning by arrangement
Final concert by participants: Thursday 24 July 18:00
